For the second year in a row, Hubert was named a Top Work Place by Enquirer Media. 42-year Hubert veteran Pat Evers graced the Sunday, June 19th cover of the printed publication. “After being at Hubert for so long, it was an honor to represent the company. It’s a great place to work!,” said Pat.
To be considered a Top Work Place, a company must first be nominated by an employee. But after being nominated and coming in at number 13 on last year’s list, Hubert again ranked near the top in this year’s survey. “When people are hired here, they tend to stick around,” said Human Resources Director Lisa Van Sant. “We were pretty excited to be ranked so high again and we really like the exposure obviously for recruiting. We’re pretty well known in the Harrison area, but outside of that, we’re a well-kept secret. When the rankings were published, we had calls for jobs solely based on being ranked as a place where people were happily employed.”
This year, when compared against similar-sized companies in Greater Cincinnati, Hubert was ranked number 23. Congratulations to the entire organization. “This is a pretty big deal,” said President Bart Kohler. “We are fighting every day to grow the business and we’re proud to find out that in the process, it’s a satisfying experience for the people I am lucky to work with.”
